How about global cooling?

Professor Walter E. Williams of George Mason U. cites how last March more than 700 international scientists went on record dissenting over manmade global warming claims. About 31,50 American scientists (9,029 with Ph.D's who signed a petition on the matter). Is this the starting point for the end of the biggest hoax perpetrated by the extreme leftist alarmists who claim "no reputable scientist disagrees with manmade global warming"? Or in the last 10 years the Earth has actually been cooling?

Update:

Mooning Dog: keep drinkig the kool aid you are being fed. The evidence is starting to suggest you have been wrong, just admit it.

Update 2:

It's not the government "making up" global warming, it's irrational scientists using inconclusive studies, it's merely the PC culture that keeps supporting it, and I do believe our government had absolutely NOTHING to do with 9/11, which illustrates your mindset.

It's true, due to sunspot activity.....that's why they now call it "climate change" instead of "global warming", b.s.'ers that they are!!!

A year ago they were denying the cooling scare of the 70s. Now they are denying that anyone said the globe is warming. It's been changed to "climate change" now, since that covers all bases. So now anytime an area has a 100 year weather extreme, it can be used as proof. About one area out of 100 should have a 100 year event each year.

I think global warming is a political term. Indeed it looks like we rather have global cooling and local warming. It is serious matter though. If the salt is going to be diluted by the melted ice and the gulf stream stops moving it will be freaking cold!

The Earth, our Solar System will ALWAYS go through cycles of warming and cooling. That is just how it is. To have to pay taxes because of these climate cycles is just ludicrous, and will NEVER change NATURE. It is just a way for any Government to take monies from the people. Isn't Nature a beautiful thing?? Like when there is more co2, the plant life will take in more co2 and photosynthesis it into Oxygen. Seems to me, Nature does take care of itself.

The earth is in a cooling trend.

Why has there been a spike in temperatures in the last 100 years?

It's still colder than 'normal', but the temperature spike isn't explained by natural phenomena. It happens to coincide nicely with the big technological booms of the Industrial Age.

I'm not an alarmist, it just makes sense to me. Besides, I don't have any faith that mankind can work together on an issue like this. We are simply to animalistic and greedy to cooperate.

You're probably the kind of guy that says the govt is telling the truth about 9/11 but is making up AGW.

Either you trust their scientists or you don't.

Why do people 'partison' up their conspiracies?

NASA says we are soon to be on a 20-30 year cooling trend. Of course, they say it is a dangerous cooling trend. All climate trends are now considered dangerous. But even they say the C02 will be building up during this cooling cycle. I suspect that has always been the case. What do you think?

did man cause all the "global warmings" and ice ages supposedly happened over the supposed billions of yearsthis earth supposedly existed?

They will say these scientists aren't true scientists, or some other such nonsense.
