How does the eastern conference stack up?

I just want some early opinions on how the East stacks up this year based on moves made so far. Best answer gets 10 points. Here's mine:

1. Cavaliers- Lebron/Shaq defensive stardom and dominance. Just good team chemistry all around

2. Magic- Stacked team and much better depth this year at forward spots, plus Howard/Nelson improving yearly

3. Celtics- Aging vets but solid bench will keep them at the top

4. Raptors- Solid moves to add Turkoglu and bolster bench and depth, plus have better coaching and development from Bargnani and top health from Jose/Bosh

5. Heat- Possibilities of adding Boozer and Odom, plus have some decent depth and strong developing rookies in Beasley and Chalmers

6. Pistons- Lost their major facilitators like Wallace and Billups, and brought in overpaid streaky scorers that messes with their defense and ruins team chemistry.

7. Hawks- Slightly overachieved last year but added Crawford for depth and kept their core players. Still lack a post-threat

8. Bulls- Lost some key free agents and lack post presence but have some promising talent in Rose, Thomas, Noah, etc

In the hunt- 76ers, Wizards, Bobcats

Lottery bound- Knicks, Nets, Pacers, Bucks

Now post what you agree/disagree on, etc.

    1. Orlando Magic

They made it all the way to the Finals last year with Turkoglu. Now they have Vince Carter, who is even better. A great shooter, driver, finisher, and clutch performer.

    2. Cleveland Cavaliers

They were first place last season, and they only improved. They added Shaq, Anthony Parker, and some other people I forgot about

    3. Boston Celtics

Turn that Big Three into the Fantastic Four

    4. Detroit Pistons

They are a pretty good team now. Ben Gordon, Charlie Villanueva, and Chris Wilcox are new additions toward Rip Hamilton, Rodney Stuckey, and Tayshaun Prince

    5. Atlanta Hawks

I don't know how the whole Crawford trade will work out, but if he agrees to be 6th man, they are a dangerous team. Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford, and Josh Smith

    6. Miami Heat

I'm pretty sure they will get Boozer or Odom. One if not both. That will be a big improvement to help Jermaine O'Neal

    7. Toronto Raptors

The addition of Hedo Turkoglu will be nice, but the Raptors need more than that. Bosh needs to step it up

    8. Philadelphia 76ers

They are a nice team and Iguodala will definitely improve that jumpshot and be an elite player in the league

In the hunt - Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Bobcats, Washington Wizards

Lottery Boung - New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks

    I disagree on 2 things

1.Cavs ( They just got better, Moon Parker and Z coming off the bench) WTF

2.celtics ( Rasheed and Grant Hill are two vets with experience.

3.Magic ( They lost Hedo,Lee,Alston and Batie just to get Carter) Maybe they will compete with Toronto.

4.Raptors ( Added Hedo, Jarret Jack is a complete two guard off the bench.

5.Hawks ( got Crawford and just needs a true Center. Zaza is not a good one, just energy.

6.Heat ( If they add Boozer and odom together then Beasley will be very pissed...

7.Bulls ( If Rose gets injured or they don't get another star then they might not make playoffs.

8.Pistons/76ers/wizards ( Wizards are my best choice, they might even make the top 5 if Arenas is healthy Which i doubt.

Aight this is nice eastern conference playoff games.

    Cavs beat Pistons in 4

    Celts beat Bulls in 5

Heat Beat Magic because Vince might get injured like always. No hate , just always happens.

    Raptors beat Hawks in 7

    Cavs beat celts in 7

    Raptors beat Hawks in 6

    Cavs beat raptors in 6

Cavs :D although im a raptors fan

    for the playoffs next year

the 1 seed will be the boston Celtics i no its a streak but why couldn't they be? they have won a champion ship the cavs haven't and wallace can help allot to

the 2 seed will be cavs (lebron and shaq) that's alot there and some good bench play

the 3 seed the magic howard Nelson and a new vince cater they are going to be good

the 4 seed this is going to be a hard one i think its going to be the heat if they can pick up boozer and odam but they need for for a PG they will still be good

the 5 seed will be the hawks there young players are just going to keep getting better and better!

the 6 seed is going to be th bulls with all those young players! they are going to be a great young tean but would be better with ben gordan

the 7 seed is going to be the 76ers they get to the play offs but not a great team tho there young players are good to

the 8th and finnly the pistions make it but just cause they have a good team and a good bench with hamltaion or gordan from the bench

    Source(s): i hope i helped!!!

Yeah the east is in basic terms suitable heavy. it relatively is not pathetic yet in basic terms not as deep because of the fact the west. The west is going 11 communities deep with stable communities. Spurs, Mavs, la, Thunder, Jazz, Hornets, Nuggets, Blazers, or maybe out of the playoffs their are stable communities that would make the playoffs interior the east like the Suns, Rockets, and Grizz. The east has far extra backside feeders too like the Wizards and Cavs that suitable communities interior the east beat up on 4 situations a three hundred and sixty 5 days.
