  • Need Some Advice Please!?

So this girl used to like me and wanted me to ask her to prom a few months ago, so I did back in January. She seemed excited at first and clearly liked me, but we both have been busy last couple months and havent really talked or hung out aside from texting and the casual hi.

I think it was my fault because I wasn't too upfront in telling her I liked her when she liked me, so we never really communicated that directly to each other. So recently I told her I liked her, and she responded right away by saying she likes me, but as a friend.

Now generally this would mean she never had feelings for me in that way, but she is kinda shy and seemed really interested in me. And the even stranger thing is when I told her that, she replied right away saying she likes me as a friend and smiling about it too (generally a girl says that to let the guy down easy). Also, right afterschool she came upto me and was talking to me and even flirting with me a bit.

So I don't know how to take this? Half of me says she just wants to be friends, but the other half says she was just shy and everything (I don't think shes been in a relationship before, might have to do with her parents not letting her?) and she likes me but just can't be in a relationship with me. It's almost like me telling her gave her a sense of relief too knowing I felt how she did? If not im fine with being friends too, I just wanna know where to go with this and how to take it?

  • Need some advice please!!?

So there was this girl that used to like me a few months ago (clearly liked me) but we haven't really been talking much the last month or so (not because we don't want to, lifes been busy for both of us). So a few days ago I said I wanted to talk to her, and she seemed anxious to find out. So today I talk to her, and I told her that she was the only girl I was interested in and I just wanted her to know how I felt, and she told me right away that she likes me, but as a friend

I was fine with this, not really regretting anything because we weren't close enough for me to say I loved her, just interested in her as a person. We will still be friends though. She seemed really interested in talking to me afterschool though, and even seemed a bit flirtier than we ever were in the past month.

I'm just wondering, what do I make of this? If she just wants to be friends, im fine with that I'll move on. But could it be that she likes me just she isnt ready for a relationship? And I would accept that because I feel the same way about relationships, they should only be gotten into if you're truly sure about it. The only reason I told her that today was to let her know I'm not ignoring her or anything, or to let her completely become uninterested if she ever was

Its just my feeling, because when she told me she didn't seem hesitant or anything like that. Actually was kinda smiling when she said she likes me as a friend. And also she wanted me to ask her to prom and I eventually did, its almost like she liked me first. I haven't changed at all who I was, so I just have a feeling she didnt want to take it too far at this point.

So what do I make of this? I just want opinions because im def not gonna do any of that b.s. where the guy suddenly changes who he is to maybe win over the girl or anything or starting to make her jealous. I'm perfectly fine with being friends too, just lookin for some input!

    Thanks in advance everyone :)

  • Need advice on my situation please!?

Ok so theres this girl that used to like me, I know this because she was asking if ill goto prom with her this June and then I asked her. But she didn't really give me a yes/no answer. I know that she liked me though, that was back at the end of January. And on valentines day I gave her a card and she said it was really cute.

But here's the thing. We've both been busy and we don't really see each other at school anymore. Whenever I see her in the halls, I just say hi or hey and that's pretty much it. So texting every now and then, but when we do its not that much anymore.

Now, usually it either means the girl isn't interested, or shes just become really shy because I haven't opened up or anything. I'm really on the fence 50/50 but I wanna tell her tomorrow how I feel legit. What is the problem here? Is she just too shy now because I haven't said anything or made any moves after that?!

Pleaseeee answer any advice would be great, thanks in advance

  • How should I ask this girl to prom?

So this girl was already flirting with me and she even brought up the whole prom thing so I know she wants to go with me, and I wanna go with her. We both have been talking for awhile now and last little while but it was more just friend talk up till now.

But i know we both like each other

Whats the best way to do this? Should I ask her on a date first or just ask her to prom. I know we'd be compatible and I wanna build on our relationship, plus prom is in 5 months so is it ok to just go ahead and ask her if she'll go with me?

  • What Activities In Glacier National Park?

    Hi there

My family is going to be travelling through Glacier National Park from Seattle over to Minneapolis, and I wanted to find some activities to do on the way since we'll be stopping in Glacier. So far, I plan to stop in the Kalispell area overnight, and then head through all the attractions along the Going To The Sun road throughout the next day.

I need help deciding if I should stay an additional night to visit any other parts of the park, and where I should stay. I heard Many Glacier hotel was nice, however I don't know of many other activities that would appeal to my family. This is our first adventure type roadtrip, so we'd like to stick to the main attractions and nothing more than a moderate hike.

Note that this is part of a 3 week trip, and I'm already on the short end of time, so if there isn't anything that's a must see, I'd be best continuing on my way!

Anyway, after reaching the road end at St Mary, I would either stay in a hotel in order to do some other activities the next day, or I would drive down to Great Falls, MT and overnight there. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

  • Need Help Finding Best Route?

Hi everyone, I am figuring out what the best way to get from Great Falls, MT to Bizmarck, ND would be.

I plan to spend the previous day in Many Glacier in Glacier National Park, and drive to a hotel overnight in Great Falls, MT. From there, I am trying to get to Minneapolis, but figure I`ll need a overnight stop somewhere along the route.

When I type it into google maps or mapquest, it leads me along MT-200, which is a state highway. Is this a decent road to take considering it`s telling me I`ll have to drive 300 miles on it? A link showing the best route would be great!

    Thanks in advance

  • What are the main attractions in Yellowstone National Park?

I am planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park this August. My family of 4 (2 kids) will have 1.5-2.5 days to spend in the park area. This depends on how much we can cover. It will go... (first day 11am-night, second day 9am-4pm). Add an additional day in there if its required.

We are planning to visit the following sites in this order:

-Drive down Beartooth highway from Red Lodge

    -Mammoth Springs

    -Norris Geyser Basin

    -Lodging in West Yellowstone

    (2nd day)

    -Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

    -Old Faithful Geyser

-5 hr drive to Helena, MT

Questions: I'd like to know of some specific activities I can do in these areas. My family is mostly there for sightseeing and pictures, and maybe some easy hiking. We haven't really been to any national parks before and just want to take in the sights on a long roadtrip and some possible activities. I'd also like to know if you can recommend any other places that I would not want to miss (taking into account I have limited time, so would not want to visit minor sites). Finally, any time recommendations of how long each area takes would be great!

    Thanks everyone :)

  • Fees Regarding US National Parks?

My family is planning a vacation in August where we will visit many different National Parks in the United States. I have seen on most sites, where there is an entrance fee per park. However, I would like to find out if I can pay one single price for admission into all these parks. Here is some basic info:

    -2 adults

    -1 16yr old

    -1 10yr old

    -Hyundai Entourage Minivan

-Traveling to Badlands National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park

Info on where I could purchase these, and other related info would also help.

    Thanks in advance

  • Best route from Mount Rushmore to Yellowstone National Park?

I'm planning a major roadtrip this august for my family (2 adults, 16 and 10 yr old kids) that goes through many northern US areas and western Canada. However, I need some help along this part:

    1. Chicago to Sioux Falls

    2. Sioux Falls to Mount Rushmore/Rapid City

    3. Rapid City to Red Lodge, MT

    4. Red Lodge to West Yellowstone

    5. West Yellowstone to Helena, MT

    6. Helena, MT to Edmonton, AB

Now, from Rapid City, it's a 7 hour drive to Red Lodge. The reason I wanted to stop in Red Lodge is since it's a close entrance to Yellowstone Park, but arriving in the evening means I won't get to take advantage of the sights of Beartooth Highway. So by stopping overnight, I would be able to travel the route in daylight, and still have time to tour Mammoth Springs. I'd then like to make my way over to West Yellowstone and stay a night there.

The following morning, I'm hoping to cover the Old Faithful Geyser and drive over to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. I think I should be able to cover both these activities by 5pm if I leave hotel early morning (9am). I'd then drive upto Helena, MT (5 hours from the site).

MY QUESTIONS- Do you think this is a good plan? I plan on spending 2 full days touring only the major points of interest in Yellowstone, as I have limited time. Does my plan allow me to cover these 4 places well enough (assume both days I leave as early as 9am). I read its about an hour and a half between locations (I said them in the order I'd visit them). Also, are there any points I missed that would be well worth an additional night?

All accomodation, food, route, time, and other recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time :)

  • Need Help Planning Roadtrip Through Northern America?

    Hi everyone,

My family is planning a roadtrip this August that will take us from Toronto through to Vancouver, with many stops along the way in north central USA and western Canada.

Could you guys that are familiar with the following states recommend some key points of interest:

    -North Dakota

    -South Dakota [Mt Rushmore/Badlands]

-Montana [Glacier National Park/Going to the sun road]

    -Wyoming [Yellowstone National Park]

    -Idaho

    -Washington

    -Alberta [Edmonton/Rocky mountains]

    -British Columbia [Vancouver area]

    -Illinois [Chicago area]

    -Minnesota [Minneapolis]

Some areas I've heard are must stops are listed in brackets, but I'm still unclear on some locations, and possibly how much time I should spend in each area. I plan to drive mainly from Chicago through I-90, and up into Alberta on I-15. On my return, I'm either looking at returning on I-90 or I-94. I have a max of 3 weeks to spend, so I'd love to visit the major tourist spots before looking into smaller stops.

Here is my full route so far:

    1. Toronto to Chicago

    2. Chicago to Mount Rushmore/Badlands/Rapid City (via Sioux Falls)

    3. Rapid City to Yellowstone National Park

    4. Yellowstone National Park to Calgary

    5. Alberta Circle (Calgary to Edmonton to Jasper to Banff)

    6. Banff to Vancouver

    7. Vancouver to Seattle

    8. Seattle to Glacier National Park

    9. Glacier National Park to Fargo, ND (via Bozeman, MT)

    10. Fargo to Minneapolis

    11. Minneapolis to Chicago

    12. Chicago to Toronto

Of course, I'd reroute this depending on other suggestions. Any route recommendations, points of interest, and general input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

  • How Will The 09-10 Raptors Do?

10 points to the most insightful answer, just looking for some opinions from other fans around the league.

The Raptors have improved greatly over this offseason. They overcame their swingmen problems by adding Hedo Turkoglu, Demar Derozan, Antonie Wright, and possibly Carlos Delfino to come. This group is much more athletic, defensively poised and offensively sound than last year's squad.

They then added Jarrett Jack to backup Jose Calderon for an impressive pg tandem and traded Jason Kapono for Reggie Evans, and have a strong possibility of bringing back Rasho Nesterovic.

Combine this with a healthy Jose Calderon, and continued progression from Bosh and Bargnani (Bargnani averaged close to 20ppg and 6rpg as a starter after the Raps upgraded their coaching).

So, how do you see them? What are they capable of, and what do they still need to improve?

  • How does the eastern conference stack up?

I just want some early opinions on how the East stacks up this year based on moves made so far. Best answer gets 10 points. Here's mine:

    1. Cavaliers- Lebron/Shaq defensive stardom and dominance. Just good team chemistry all around

    2. Magic- Stacked team and much better depth this year at forward spots, plus Howard/Nelson improving yearly

    3. Celtics- Aging vets but solid bench will keep them at the top

    4. Raptors- Solid moves to add Turkoglu and bolster bench and depth, plus have better coaching and development from Bargnani and top health from Jose/Bosh

    5. Heat- Possibilities of adding Boozer and Odom, plus have some decent depth and strong developing rookies in Beasley and Chalmers

    6. Pistons- Lost their major facilitators like Wallace and Billups, and brought in overpaid streaky scorers that messes with their defense and ruins team chemistry.

    7. Hawks- Slightly overachieved last year but added Crawford for depth and kept their core players. Still lack a post-threat

    8. Bulls- Lost some key free agents and lack post presence but have some promising talent in Rose, Thomas, Noah, etc

In the hunt- 76ers, Wizards, Bobcats

Lottery bound- Knicks, Nets, Pacers, Bucks

Now post what you agree/disagree on, etc.

  • Midnight Club LA or Need For Speed?

I'd like to buy one of these games and was just wondering which was the better pick. I've never tried either, but I've really enjoyed Burnout Paradise and would like a game that matches that open world concept.

The cop chases look intense in NFS, but is Midnight Club the better game? Which on should I get? Thanks in advance

  • Question On Fantasy Points?

I'm on a tight budget with my fantasy team with rotohog.com and I was just wondering what position I should be least worried about getting quality at. Right now, I'm set at QB and RB. I've also got Braylon Edwards (debating changing him with Reggie Wayne) at the WR.

So here's a few questions that would be great if you could answer:

    1. Are the Chiefs a good enough defensive team? It looks as though you won't gain many extra fantasy points by investing for a better defense so I just went with a cheap option.

    2. Are Randy McMichael and Shayne Graham good as the TE and K respectively? Or should I downgrade at those position(s) and invest it in my open WR position?

    Thanks!

In terms of fantasy points, who are the best RB OTHER THAN:

    -Ladainian Tomlinson

    -Steven Jackson

I've got Westbrook already and I've got Joseph Addai. But I'm trying to save some money so any suggestions other than those 4 would be great.

And as a side question, who's the better pick between Jackson and Westbrook?
