2 upsets in the six-man Super Middleweight Tournament?
Even though it will not be a major upset because he is the favorite in this fight coming up in October, but since Carl Froch is the WBC champion and is coming off a sensational comeback KO of Jermain Taylor people think he will handle Andre Dirrell. I can honestly tell this forum that Dirrell has the speed and skill to outbox Froch and claim his first world title.
The other upset I can see coming might be Ward vs Kessler. I like both fighters, but this might be a close win for Ward. He showed skill and heart against Miranda. Kessler can be out worked as he was did against Calzaghe. Ward has the speed to do just that. I see this upset but it will be a hard one for Ward...
Any answers of agreement or disagreement?
Due to the ignorant answer I just recieved. I will say this. I am picking Ward and Dirrell not because they are black but because of the skills I seen them show in their fights. Froch's skills are not better then Dirrell's Also Ward's fight with Kessler is hard, but I will give him a SD win if anything. Kessler's ring activity has not been active as much as Ward's that is why I am picking Ward with the tough win. IT IS NOT ABOUT RACE BUT ABOUT SKILL!
Again it is not about RACE but about skill people! I guess most answerers do not know about the art of sweet science. Total disapointment!

I think this tournament is going too have a least one upset. The thing that I have noticed is a lot of people are simply picking Mikkel Kessler because he's perceived too be the best Super Middleweight. However his biggest win is actually a loss to Joe Clazaghe.
I think Andre Ward has what it takes too beat Mikkel Kessler. Ward is an extremely skilled and polished Boxer. IF he is as good as advertised he'll beat Kessler. I'm picking for him too win the Whole thing.
Carl Froch in my opinion isn't even on the same level as Andre Dirrell as far as Polish is concerned. However when comparing the resumes Froch has fought the better competition so that could also play into the fight. Maybe I'm just biased toward the two Andre's but I really think these guys are going too pull a lot of shockers in this tournament.

I can agree on Froch because I dont think he is that good. He won his last 3 fights on late KOs...and he was losing to Taylor before the KO. I think Dirrell has the skill and ability to beat him , but he has never fought on this level so it's yet to be seen...this is a believeable upset.
ON Kessler I don't agree. He is the cream of the crop in this group and will win the whole thing. I like ward a lot and in the future he will be better but not today.

You could not pay me to bet a dime on either of these fights . You have two black fighters against two white fighters. I like all of these fighters, and I am not in love with any of them. I will say it before it happens one of the black guys will get robbed. I think Froch is a better fighter than Dirrell I just hope he can get back up for a big fight in Oct. You know what I am going to pick Kessler over Ward he has been in tougher fights so it looks like I wont be able to use my black and white thing. I believe the white guys are better than the brothers and that just shows you how bad boxing is in America.

i admire the finished experience unification thought yet not 6...it relatively is in basic terms too lengthy. I say get the 4 significant belt holder and in basic terms have an removing tourney of champions. on the instant this tourney could be... Miguel Cotto (WBA) Saul Alvarez (WBC) Cornielus Bundrage (IBF) and Sergiy Dzinzuk (WBO)...that has some tremendous opportunities the not user-friendly area could be getting the promoter on board. Cotto is with suitable Rank who wouldnt participate interior the Bantamweight tourney. Alvarez is with Golden Boy. Bundrage is with Don KING. in case you have been going to make it great 6 upload Cintron and Angulo, yet you gotta start up with the 4 belt holders. Unification is the finished objective after all.
