I havent played the violin in a month and a half and...?
i was wondering if you had any advice. Im 14 ive been playing the violin since i was 11 and i havent played all summer but i have a violin lesson coming up soon and i want to sound good, but no matter how much i practice still sound awful

I have that happen sometimes to. My advice would be to just keep practicing. You might have to practice more than you usually do. Also play some easy stuff. From my personal experience I've learned that it is really hard to just jump right back in. Try working on something that's decently easy and work your way back into everything.
