In your opinion, who's the mvp in the AL and NL?

i know the season isn't over but so far who would you give it to?

Update:

Vulcann- i would give The NL mvp to Pujols:) and The AL mvp to Tex, he started off a little slow but he's been on fire and his bat and defense has been a big help to the yanks:)

Update 2:

Andrew R- so tex doesn't deserve it, because he plays on the yankees and you don't like the yankees, wow that's an intelliegnt and brilliant answer:)

Pujols NL For sure he will get it

In the the AL is stil early to tell yet but i will pick Mauer from the twins he is having a MVP season.

The NL is a sure thing with Pujols

The AL is more difficult to assess because it keeps flip flopping, in the beginning it was Jason Bay, now he can't buy a hit, now there's more than just one guy playing MVP caliber, Joe Mauer, Teixiera (my fave), Ichiro, so there's no telling.

AL: Chone Figgins.... why not? I'm just throwing it out there I mean I apologize he is not a Joe Mauer or a Mark Teixeira or a Justin Morneau but in all honesty I don't know where the angels would be without him hitting leadoff every single day. Figgy hasn't had a day off since.. the off season! lol so he may be a leadoff man and heck you can even say its complete garbage that i'm even throwing his name in the ballot but you can't say he's not valuable to the current first place angels because i'm telling you he is.

    NL: Pujols :-)

    AL- Joe Mauer

    NL- Albert Pujols

Teixeira doesn't deserve it! I liked him when he played for the Rangers, but I just can't stand the Yankees. Such a high payroll and no recent hardware to show for it.

NL: Albert Pujols. He's looking a possible triple-crown right now.

    AL: Jason Bay

    Everyone pretty much knows,

    Pujols in NL

    Mauer in AL

  • the A.L.mvp should go to either jason bay or alex rodriquez they are the guys that their teammates look for to keep them in games or to put them in games:) but i think alex probably won't get it because of all the drama surrounding him and he doesn't need all the bashing but he deserves to be mentioned he is doing alot for that team! ten of his homeruns has either tied the game for the yankees or put them ahead and the redsox would be in third place right now if it wasn't for bay those are my front runners for the a.l. mvp:) and the n.l. mvp is no contest albert " the next yankee" pujols will win it hands down:)

how are you gonna say Teixeira doesn't deserve it because he is a yankee? i am a redsox girl and if it wasn't for alex he would be the yankees MVP!
