Do I think he's a Hall of Famer? Yes but maybe not a first ballot one. His on the field numbers are unquestioned, but a lot of people had issues with him off the field and as a teammate.

they gave you the answers for your first question. as for the hall of fame, without a doubt in my mind he will be a first ballot hof'er. he is easily the greatest hitter the white sox have ever seen in 100+ years. his 500+ homers, .301 BA, incredible K/BB ratio, there is no way he misses it. some will go against him because he was a DH, but that came only late in his career when he was injuring himself by laying out to get ground balls. when he did play the field, he was nothing close to a gold glover, but he could play his position enough. no doubt. Hall of Fame.
