solving equations by using multiplication property?

i trying to solve the equation and check the solution by multiplication n/6=2, thank you

    okay mult. everything by 6 on both sides so you have n=12 which is your answer.

    by using "multiplication aspects of equality", i assume you recommend: If A = B then C*A = C*B. (5/4) (a) = 20 Muliplying the two facets by using 4/5 provides: (4/5) (5/4) (a) = (4/5) (20) which simplifies to a = sixteen

    you would take 2, and multiply it by 6 to give you n.

    so n is 12.

    check it by plugging it in.

    12/6 is indeed 2
