Why cant i connect to any microsoft sites?
This is the second time this has occurred. After formatting and installing a new windows xp os, i can no longer connect to any microsoft sites. Somehow last time it happened, after a few months i suddenly could connect, dont ask me how. I really need to figure out what is stopping me from connecting to microsoft when i can connect to all other sites without any trouble. Kinda making updates difficult. I have tried with both IE and firefox, no luck with either.
Im afraid your wrong. It can be solved without reinstalling as when i installed xp last time it wouldnt load microsoft sites for around 3 months, then suddenly it would. I had done alot to my pc and so pin pointing what i did to make it work seems near impossible. I also dont know the exact point at which this became possible, i just know one day it connected.

I had this same problem a month ago when i installed windows xp. If you need to go to microsoft.com then either you should use your friend's pc (this is what i did) or you will have to reinstall the xp.
Mine problem is gone because i reinstalled xp for some other reasons.
THIS PROBLEM CAN'T BE SOLVED UNLESS YOU REINSTALL YOUR OS.
