Natural alternatives to lighten my dark hair color?
Is there anything else I can use to lighten my natural hair color? It's dark brown/black but I want to make it lighter without using any chemicals. I've used henna several times, which has given me red highlights. I don't want to use lemon juice because according to some hair professionals, a consistent use of acid makes the hair brittle in the long run.
Are there any other natural options besides sitting in the sun?

Go outside in the sun and put lemon juice on it
