'As part of that effort, Obama hosted a conference call with leftist bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible.

During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.” "


This is a truly disturbing admission by the President, especially considering that later in the call, Obama promises yet again: “If you have health insurance, and you like it, and you have a doctor that you like, then you can keep it. Period.” How can Obama keep making this promise if he is not familiar with the health legislation that is being written in Congress? Details matter.

The House bill does allow private insurance to be sold, but only “Exchange-participating health benefits plans.” In order to qualify as an ?Exchange-participating health benefits plan,? all health insurance plans must conform to a slew of new regulations, including community rating and guaranteed issue. These will all send the cost of private individual health insurance skyrocketing. Furthermore, all these new regulations would not apply just to individual insurance plans, but to all insurance plans. So the House bill will also drive up the cost of your existing employer coverage as well. Until, of course, it becomes so expensive that your company makes the perfectly economical decision to dump you into the government plan.

Since the bill is not yet finished then the answer would be no. He knows what he wants in the health care bill but it is being written as we speak so I don't think anyone knows what will end up in the final bill.*

Compromise! Obama desires to shove the invoice down everybodys throats, his way or the line, however the way he's doing it, would not sit down properly with the yank human beings and that they are resisting. Panic passing of the invoice will harm Democrats contained in the long-term. some are saying Conservatism is lifeless, yet those saying that have not been around that long. The democrats attempt at gutting what we've and changing it with some thing completely new at this way of great cost to all individuals isn't the astounding way. yet you attempt to sneak it by and shove it down our throats. The President tells us to get out of how and allow him restoration the mess. he's annoyed, through fact it wasn't as person-friendly as he claimed. yet then the left are like infants wanting what they want. a greater effective attitude could be to debate it and paintings out the specifics. The left, throwing tantrums, says this is no longer quickly adequate, whine and attack the astounding. So the astounding has to dig in, through fact the left won't hear to reason, so now the President is at political conflict with the individuals.

he added 300 pages to the cap and trade bill w/o letting anyone read it in congress and that got passed(it taxes your co2 usage, so basically its taxes to breath air out).
our health care is shitty now, but he wants to help the big health care business not the sick ppl.
