Will Ben Roethlisberger challenge for the MVP award this year?

i think he will, he is healthy and the team is too. i think he will be right there with brady this year with great offensive stats:)

Update:

crazy eye- just because you spend all your time here on these boards doesn't mean you know everything, get over yourself and get a glue, you check out his stats i don't need to, he's my QB:)

he was hurt last year and in 07 he had a great year and last year he should have won MVP so i'm assuming he'll be healthy this year so he will challenge brady for it:)

i know he will, he has already surpassed peyton as the second best qb in the league behind the great brady:) i think this legal thing will only make he madder therefore he will put up greater stats! he and tom will probably battle it out for mvp. with brady winning it of course:)

people before you post your ignorant comments check out the dude's stats from 2007! thanks:)

It all depends on what he does this season he has to have a really great year in order to compete with other players like brady and payton manning but he has a good as anyone else does. I hope he will get though cause he deserved it last year.

Will you be less bias when the season starts and Ben has his usual 17 to 15 td/int ratio. You know his stats because you're a fan. Go take another look.

I hope so (Pittsburgh fan. I'm from Washington County if you know where that is) and I think he has a decent shot. We was a little banged up the last couple of years and I think his team is better now. But he is recently engaged with some sexual assault allegations so we will have to wait and see how that will affect him and the team (if at all) this season.

Hell Yeah! He will have the season that will be compared to Peyton and Bradys stats. He is very underrated and a great player. Steelers fan till i die!!!!!!

Never. He's got ok stats and is pretty mediocre.

Credit should be given to their defense, RBs (Mewelde Moore who did extremely well in place of Willie Parker), and experienced receivers.

No he is not a stats guy he is a wins guy. He will win butbnot put up great numbers.

I doubt it. He's a good QB but he doesn't carry his team like Drew Brees and Peyton Manning.
