What are good reasons to have an abortion?

There are no other good reasons.

What? How is the death of the mother a good reason? I don't understand!

Anyway...

1.) The mother can have a less stress-free life without the influence and 'burden' of an unwanted child. She might want to go to university for example. A child is forever. 18 years. She would have to wait a long time before she can go to university and get a proper job.

2.) No university= potentially poor= less educational opportunities for the child

3.) No unwanted children= no problems. Otherwise the children will have a life that is "different" from children who were 'wanted'.

4.) Abort now, have children later. That way the mother can get a real job, save, get a house, proper things for her child. And set everything up before it is born.

I would HATE to fall pregos and not have the oppotunity to abort it. I have just graduated from university. I want to get a job now. I want to Save and buy a house before I even think of having childn.

Horrible diseases/defects on the fetus is really the only other reason that abortion should be encouraged and allowed reasonably far into the pregnancy.

Rape, failed contraceptives, the man taking off, etc are perfectly valid reasons - though there's no reason that those can't be taken care of *very* early in the pregnancy should that be the decision.

no good reason's at all if you don't want the baby give it to someone you know will take good care of it. and if you want to stay in the child's life then you can tell that person you want an open adoption.

If the baby would have something wrong with it that is life-threatening. If the woman was raped and can't handle the reminder of what happened to her. If the parents are not ready to have a kid and no one else can take care of the baby.

You won't have any connections to the other parent til the child is 18. You won't have to become a parent when your not ready. You will have time for yourself, to achieve your goals whether big or small. Saving and spending will be on yourself. No stress. But i'm keeping my pregnancy...because I couldn't EVER kill my baby.

There aren't any! To many people out there willing to give the baby a good home!

The baby will be born into a bad living environment.

If the mother is using drugs..shes too young..

I wouldn't say their is anything good about an abortion.
