My dog started vomiting last night?

After I put my dog to bed last night, she vomited a couple of times. I know she did it at least twice. About an hour and a half after I put her to bed, she was whimpering a little in her crate, so I took her out to go potty and noticed a pile of partially digested food in her crate. I cleaned it up, changed the pad in her crate and put her back to bed. This morning, there was what looked like the remnants of vomit in 2 distinct piles on the pad (so she probably threw up 3 times in total).

We fed her breakfast this morning and she threw that up a couple of hours later.

We have a vet appointment for tomorrow morning, which was the earliest we could get in. We haven't changed her food at all lately (we are in the middle of a bag, so it's not likely to be a bad batch). The only new thing we have introduced into her diet is pressed bones - which we bought over the weekend to see if she liked them.

Could it be a stomach bug or something she ate that didn't agree with her? (She does spend a portion of her day in the back yard, so there's no real way of telling if she ate something while outside.) Or is it likely to be something more serious? On our walk this morning, she pooped like normal - except maybe a little less than normal.

Like I said, we have a vet appointment for tomorrow - I'm just concerned. This is my first dog and first experience with this type of thing. (We've had cats for years that have vomited from time to time, but that's just hairballs. And it's never been repeated vomiting.)

Well it is a good idea that you have a vet appointment. My best guess is that something did not agree with her and she might have gotten into something. As long as she is going potty just fine, eating and drinking she may just have gotten a hold of something. If she is vomiting still i may just lay off the food till tomorrow morning then offer her some boiled chicken and brown rice....good luck!

If you cannot afford a dog, you cannot have a dog. Pet ownership is not a privilege. You have no choice but to take it to the vet, or be neglectful and let it die. This is the consequence to taking on a responsibility you are not prepared for. If it lives, surrender it. An EDIT, since you added more details. If your financial situation is not going to improve in the very near future, my point stands. If you cannot afford a dog, you cannot keep a dog. I do have more sympathy because I work at a shelter and we get a LOT of people who bought dogs during prosperous times that can't afford them anymore. But the bottom line is that you cannot keep a dog you cannot keep healthy. Try calling the vet and see if they have any advice. They will know if it's an emergency, or tell you what to do if it's not. If it is an emergency, some shelters have free or low cost clinics to bail you out, ask your vet about them. You have to do SOMETHING. This dog is your responsibility no matter how much is in your bank account compared to when you bought it. This is the commitment you signed up for.

Your puppy probably ate something outside that didn't agree with her tummy or she probably has a minor sickness. I think your pup will be fine and you are doing the right thing so i wouldn't be worried.
