99 grand am over heating?
ok, my car is over heating. It only acts up on hot days. It is not leaking any fluids what so ever. I am pretty sure that it is the thermostat but wanted someone else's opinion.

In most cases if it overheats it is because of the thermostat.
It can also be the radiator is stopped up with rust. It restricts the flow and it will over heat.

If not thermostat may be a blown head gasket. I had a car that did that. only overheated on hot days or a good run on the freeway. Head gaskets were blown.
