How can I get a copy of my husband's orders? (Navy)?

My husband is a submariner, we have orders to Norfolk but he recently was sent temporarily to another boat as a rider. Can I still get a copy of his orders to VA or have those been cancelled since he is temporarily with another boat stationed in GA? I need it to qualify for in-state college tuition. Who do I contact to get a copy? I don't know who our current ombudsman is.

Update:

My husband is underway and I have no contact with him.

Until he reports and checks into the Command, the Ombudsman cannot give you any information. If he is just a "rider" with the submarine then he is there on orders to that submarine as TDY usually.

His detailer should be able to get you a copy of the PCS orders if you have access to that phone #.

His orders actually could get canceled if it is determined he is needed on the other boat. You might have to wait until he comes back and gets his final orders. I do know of people whose orders have changed at the last minute, including reporting to one boat and then being transferred to another.
