What is the biggest lake trout you guys and gals have caught weighed?

I caught one 2 years ago in a nearby lake, here in BC, that weighed 18lbs. Check this new lake trout story out... http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/090721/canada/canad...

I do not remember the weight, as I caught it 25 years ago. I do remember that it was a tad over 20" long. My mom kept it in the back of the freezer for over 15 years. Kinda silly, but as I had caught it when I was 10 & that it was buried in ice in the secondary stand alone freezer, it just never was thrown Away.

I don't remember much from that day, only that I caught it on a large grasshopper, that had gone to the loo on my hands after I put my hook through it.

My largest catch was 7.5 lbs! I was so excited! I was only using 4lb line and a micro spin reel, while I was float tubing. It was a great fight!
