why is it on some trusted sites i get internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close?
For example i went on the site for a local news station here and clicked on a news video i wanted to watch and the annoying pop up came up Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. I thought by downloading IE 8 would help this problem but it didn't. I am still getting that annoying pop up when i go to some trusted websites.

a lot of web sites use java so make sure you have the latest java jre installed.This is for IE and Firefox, Opera and Chrome, Also the latest Flash player.

Firefox has the same problems as with IE 8, may be in some other field. All programs run in IE 8 but many software do not work in Firefox. Try by uninstalling the IE 8 and installing it back.
