Japanese perm for natural (African-American) hair?

I have all natural hair. I have not relaxed my hair for the past 5 years. Of which I shaved off and started re-growing naturally. I have decided to get my hair straightened, and after i have done some research on Hairdressers, they have recommended the Japanese perm. Have anyone tried it? Did it work for you? Would you recommend it?

I've heard it really damages your hair if they don't do it the right way!

    -it cost ALOT of money

-and takes up to six-eight hours

-and don't buy the conditioner at the salon

  • You might as well get a relaxer i don't know any black people even on the internet that have had the japanese thing. You could try the brazilian keratin treatment which works but after a few months your whole hair reverts.
