How can the PEG of a stock change so quickly?

I was watching a stock with a PEG of .21 and over night it went up to .49 Could a change in the present quarter's earnings change the PEG that much?

Most likely yes. The PEG ratio obviously has 2 components, price and earnings. If the price didn't change, but the PEG did, then that means that earnings changed. Sometimes it takes websites a while to update their PEG ratios though so be warned. It usually takes yahoo finance a week or so after a company's earnings release before it shows up under the company's statistics on yahoo. Some websites are faster though.
