Do the Saints have a chance at making the playoffs and then the superbowl?

The offense has been one of the best in the NFL hands down the past 4 seasons. Sure off and on with injuries but still pretty damn solid with brees and his weapons.

The defense? eh theyve been at the botton of the ranks the past few seasons. Sean peyton made it clear that this off season he will be beefing up the defense and in my opinion has done a great job. He has basically changed the entire secondary(for the better) this year, and that is what killed the saints, theyre secondary

To answer your question, yes the saint have a higher chance than usual to make it to the super bowl this year.

to both questions yes, this is the NFL where the best of the best play, and depending on how much effort they give.... well even the dolphins made the playoffs with NO ONE giving them a chance. if the defense steps up and the offense remains the same there will be a BIG improvement in the team

Making the playoffs....I think so. Definitely the offense is there. They have so many weapons. (Brees, Bush, Pierre Thomas, Colston, Lance Moore, Henderson, Meacham, Shockey) But it's the matter of staying consistent with that offense, without making bone headed turnovers. The defense is obviously the big question mark on that team. I have to see a improvement from them to take them seriously as a big contending team in the NFC.

Yes they absoultely do, similiar to the arizona cardinal they have a dynamic offense, with the right thign sgoing on at the right time late in the season they could make a run very easily. they put up points very fast, and they are extremely explosive, but there defense would have to play alot better

2 starting DEs will be out for the first 4 games so that will make it more difficult.

they just have to have a smoking hot defense... they don't have the talent, but if they get confidence, start hitting hard, get a few breaks on interceptions/fumbles... sure...
