Edit: So in all seriousness the Giants should go for for lo-key guys that hit over .300 in the second half. Spmeone like Cristian Guzman whos hitting .290, Scutaro whos hit .280 or if they want some pop add Jonny Gomes. Noone out there on the market this year is worth trading lefty Madison Bumgarner. which is why the Giants wont make any big splashes.

one player can change the whole race for the playoffs....Adam Dunn thats all they will ever need there starters have no power whatsoever but they have the ABSOLUTE best pitching in the majors and they could win so many more games with adam dunns ton of homeruns. all they would need is a homerun from them and the pitching staff would be lights out. in my oppinion if they got him he could single handedly put the giants in the playoffs....and id send over Johnathan Sanchez or maybe a few AAA guys cuz Dunn is well worth it
