why do guys ask for a girls number and dont call her ?

I think they collect numbers and then wait for the girl to call , then say that they lost you number or it was not the correct one .......anyway it is a mystery ...... Katie :-)

He could have accidentlly lost the number, washed his clothes with the paper in it or any number of things. If he gave you his number then I would call cause that was an invitation and say that I needed a date for Saturday night at the nicest local restaurant and you are going to pay the bill, if he gets mad then that is a good sign and when he insists that he pay the bill then let him. If he did not give you his number then I would look for greener pastures. I hope that was not rambling.

He could be playing the number game. Some guy an I from work play this game all the time. You get points for every number you get. You have to see the person get the number from the girl to get the points. If you ask in front of her parents, you get more points. If it is in front of her boyfriend, you get even more. You only get the points if she gives you the number. At the end of the month, we add up all the points, and see who wins. We have know idea who the number is for. We didn't want it to call them, it was just for the points.

to show off that they got a number.

i wouldnt take a guy i met at a bar serious in the first place.

i asked my brother one day about almost the same question and he said, boyz feel sorry for girls sometimes especially if she's alone or single. they think we "girls" want attention and we'll feel bad if they dont talk to us. so, sometimes they just approach us for the fun of it, even if it doesnt mean anything to them.

it would be kind of boring and unexciting if he called you right the next day ya know?

Its cause you met him at a BAR.

Not the best place to meet anyone. They usually just go there to hook up and end up with herpes.

A guy can't call when he say he will because then you would think he is desperate. Plus he has to keep his options open.

To put on bathroom walls, dont worry somebody will call sooner or later.

he may be scared, if you have the number of this guy, call him straight away without wasting even a single minutes.
