Sodium silicate is the main ingredient in automotive block sealer. Try a local parts store, and ask them to check the label for you. I know that "Gunk" brand # C6-16 and CRC or K&W 401016 both have it. The K&W label says not to use it in your oil, which is probably what you want it for..... Cash for Clunkers??????

Since the Cash for Clunkers program requires dealers to use Sodium Silicate to disable engines, supply is under attack. I would try www.cheap-chemicals.com who is advertising that they have ample supply.
