How do you wash.....?
How do you wash your clothes? Hot water? Or cold? Why?
I was wondering because my daughter constantly pees in her pants and I wash colors in cold water, but it seems that the smell is still there and I was wondering if I washed in hot water if they would mess up or even if the smell would go away

I would either pre-soak and rinse clothes that have been seriously peed on, or wash them separately (from non-peed-on clothes) in the hottest water that the clothing can stand.
For regular colors that would be warm, although you could start by filling the washer with hot then switch to the warm setting for the remainder of the cycle.
If the clothing is dark then the colors may even run in warm water. All the more reason to pre-soak in the hottest water that the fabric can stand and wash separately. You might try using Dreft or another detergent specific for baby clothes. It's usually pretty good at getting out urine. On the other hand, if your detergent has enzymes the smell should come out much better. Of major brands only Tide and Era have enzymes to my knowledge, and most cheaper brands do not. Check the ingredients it will say on the label if it has enzymes. Enzymes are critical to getting organic matter out fully.
Good luck!

dark clothes: cold water
colors: warm water
Whites: hot water
Just because that's the correct temperature for the clothes

colors, darks in cold, whites in hot. if you wash colored cloths in hot, they will fade into each other, same with the darks.

I wash everything in cold, it saves money. everything gets just as clean with a good detergent.

Cold is fine for most things. Saves energy.
Hot once in awhile if something's extremely dirty.
