When you worship a god other than yaweh?

When you worship a "god" other than YHVH you either worship your self or you worship a demonic deceiver.

While some who participate in this practice may experience temporal blessings in the form of material wealth, they are on the broad way to destruction and when the final "paycheck" arrives it will be one that they won't want to cash.

1 Corinthians 10:19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?

Mark 8:34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

i take a broad view of the term "worship" what ever takes center stage in you heart and mind is worship. losing your to a song, writing a term paper, start a new relationship. its all worship, it can all be done for the glory of God or not. and no matter why you do something it can be futile

p.s. god the devil and bob all know bribing followers will not work. there is rich and poor in all faith (even those who worship the almighty dollar.) and being a good follower of any god will never equate to the bottom line. no matter what a preacher says before they pass the plate

there is only one God. the idol you worship has nothing to do with how rich you are. yes there a lot of rich hindus,but there are many in poverty also. only the one true God promises every believer eternal life and riches in heaven. read the bible to learn about him.

Riches in life is nothing compared to the riches u will see if u make it to heaven. don't worry about money it just a piece of paper that does not last forever, it can;t buy u a seat in heaven...so just don't worry about the rich or being rich. Jesus said not to worry about the provision in life,all u got to do is trust him and he ill provide everything for u...how do u think the poor survive cause they remember the lord and never question him...being poor is not the worst thing that can happen in life.it burning in hell fire and putting you trust in money rather then the Lord our God

India is one of the world's most impoverished nations and it is mostly Hindu. What the sam hell makes you think Hindus are wealthy?

Well, the Jewish are the most richest people in the world and they worship that dude. In fact some people believe the Jews are the ones really running the world.

maybe? The hindus may be rich now but they will not be after death nor will anybody worshiping false gods

I'm sorry to offend anyone... but I would LOVE to meet a "rich" hindu.

There is only 1 true God there are no others.
