this is a BCD to 7 segment decoder circuit. Can I modify it to use 2 seven segment LEDs to display digits upto 99? Right now it displays only up to 9.

Update:

wont it be a problem when we input numbers like 11, 10, 15 etc...considering the IC takes only upto 9?

Just make two of the circuit, and it will display two digits.

You will need 8 single pole switches to input the digits unless you have something else in mind. I don't see what you get out of the circuit other than a demonstration that the display works. Two of them would not gain you anything more.

    Sword,

You could duplicate the circuit at the power terminals.

You could get into the discussion panel and see if any one else enjoying that website has done it.
