Why has Yahoo!Answers become so BORING?

Guidelines are playing spoilsports for 'fun' people!

I find it boring when my regular contacts are playing truant! Yet there's plenty meat for me to find, chew and spit :)

Because of drilling. All sorts of questions are being pumped. It is very difficult to find answers to some of the question and then it attracts Community Guidelines. Soft and smooth people like me get notices.

If I get one such notice, I am upset and down for two days. I do not like to be in Yahoo answers. I am very careful still, I am also being caught sometimes.

I am continuing because it has other plus points. And I am caught only one percent among my answers. Still I feel bad.

People tend to want 5 word sentences to answer profound questions. They want Yahoo Answers to be a fun "share your feelings" place instead of a place to find the truth. This idea of the website keeps it superficial. Eventually you realize you only see opinions of many people with no reason or justification for them.

Because you get mirrored what you put out. So you might be currently in a boring mood, so yahoo is boring for you. It is not for me, but should I be in boring mood one day, I might experience the same.

Well, a Site is ONLY as good as the People ON it... And since YOU are, & YOU'RE Complaining about it being "boring" -then MAYBE YOU'RE the "problem" with Yahoo Answers !!! :o

We're not allowed to say a lot things that are really interesting. The lurking security guards will banish you if you stray from the correct line. The result, as you have observed, is really boring.

It's only boring because you don't know how to play it ;) Find the stupidest questions you can, and just beat them down with logic. It's amazing fun.

Well in your case pretend. :S If you need to act it out, just pick someone and be like "I'm so jealous they have _______ " and then fill in the blanks - Friends, social status, money, shoes, clothing, hair, girls, boys. Anything really. But I suggest not to fake who you are, or you will get yourself in a bigger mess.

There's not enough sex, violence, and insulting. Yahoo refuses to open a sex category, and does not allow uploading of pictures. this is why it is boring.

You must not be asking the right questions... or answering the right answers because I'm having a blast here! :-D
