Laying vinyl on concrete floors?

Is there an insulation for a concrete floor that is worth using that is on a roll so it can be put down easily before laying the vinyl floor?

You can buy special basement floating subflooring that's meant to go on top of concrete. The bottom of it will have ridges, and it goes together with a tongue and groove. It goes together in a day or so, and it will help insulate your home as well as prevent moisture and black mold buildup under the vinyl flooring. I have seen that firsthand and its gross.

Edited to add: the flooring usually comes in 2x2 squares. So its pretty fast to install.
