How do rappers make music and music videos if there in jail?

There are multiple possiblilities here. One could be that it's just a studio set like they do for movies. Another is a partial set and computer generated image for large parts of the jail. It is also possible that there's some type of arrangement with the jail to allow shooting there in an unoccupied part of the facility.

Money talks...if the rapper or any entertainer is rich enough and "good" behavior wise they can be released long enough to do their video and then pretty much go back to jail. T.I. is actually on house arrest though so for him that wasn't too hard. There are a few probation officers in the crowds.

its old but look up x raided he recorded his music through the phone it wasnt great quality but was good or a guard could help em bring in stuff to record thats y x raided has so many albums even tho hes been in jail for a long time
