Tick bite but no redness?
My daughter and her friend were hiking through some woods today and my daughter noticed a tick on her leg. She tried to get it off but couldn't so her friend used his key to get it off her. She doesn't notice any redness or swelling at the spot. Should I be concerned? Should she see a doctor?

If the tick wasn't there for a long period of time, there is probably nothing to be concerned about. If symptoms like a rash around the wrist and nausea should occur, those are signs or RMSF(Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever), then a doctor visit would be necessary. I recently found two on myself after mowing, and I'm still kickin'.

you need to make sure that the head of the tick came out intact with the body. In the meantime, try cleaning the area with alcohol. If you 're worried, you can call your dr for advice
