  • Photographer's card at dinner?

I just booked my photographer and I really like him. However, his custom is to ask the maid of honor and best man to hand out his card to our guests during dinner. The card will state how our guests can view our pics on line. But, I'm concerned that it will be a little tacky to bother our guests while they are eating and not fair to the MOH/BM to ask them to do this during their dinner. How did your photographer handle this?

  • Tick bite but no redness?

My daughter and her friend were hiking through some woods today and my daughter noticed a tick on her leg. She tried to get it off but couldn't so her friend used his key to get it off her. She doesn't notice any redness or swelling at the spot. Should I be concerned? Should she see a doctor?

  • When you have to give 24 hours notice for a doctor's appt?

My daughter has a dentist apointment Monday at 4 pm. She just found out on late last night (Friday) that she has the opportunity to go to New York and see a Broadway play with her best friend. She tried calling the office at 6 pm last night, but they were closed. She called first thing this morning hoping that they had Saturday hours, but they don't. She left a message on their answering machine cancelling the appt and said she would call on Tuesday to reschedule. Since they will not get the message until Monday morning, will they charge her for not giving 24 hours notice?

  • Should my son sign a non-compete clause?

My son has just been offered his first job since graduating in May. He will be a recruiter and he is to start in 3 weeks. However, the company just emailed him a "non-compete" letter which he is to sign. If he does not sign, he will not get the job. If he takes this job, most likely he will not stay that long since it is his first job right out of college and the pay is just OK. But, being a recruiter will be all he knows. If he leaves, can they keep him from working in the field?

  • Ankle strap from torn ligament?

I tore a ligament in my ankle. I am currently in a walking cast. I am to leave for Paris on vacation on 9/24. That is 8 weeks from the day I twisted my ankle. The podiatrist said that if I stay off it and wear the cast at all times, I should be OK for Paris. She said she will probably put me in an ankle strap. What does an ankle strap look like? Can I wear a sneaker over it?

  • Chateau de Versailles?

We will be visiting Paris in September for 6 days. Should we spend one of our days visiting the Chateau de Versailles? I've heard it is absolutely beautiful and a must see. I have also heard it is extremely crowded, really long lines to get in, to eat, and to use the bathroom. Is it worth a day, a half day, or none at all? Thank you.
