When Buying a used car, such as a mini van, how many miles is too many?

I am looking to buy mini van and I see some good deals but usually they have a lot of miles on them. I don't mind as long as its in good running condition, and I am not expecting brand new for a few thousand. Please help!!

Say, if a vehicle runs 12,000 miles a year, its kind of moderately driven

so if u find a 5 yr old car, with 60,000 miles its quite good.

The condition of the car is very important while u buy a used car,

but avoid cars that are over 120,000 miles as there are lot of maintenance coming ur way.

    Mini van?

They haven't been made for well over twenty years, so anything under 100,000 miles would be a bonus.

Bear in mind that these old vehicles are slow, unreliable, cramped, uneconomical, very unsafe in a crash, poorly built & very prone to rust - think carefully before parting with any money.

Older vehicles are not up to modern standards of performance, and engines & gearboxes were often knackered at 50,000 miles.

how many gf/bf's is too many?

it's not the miles that are important, it's if they have been maintained properly.

if your looking at used vans avoid Chrysler/Dodge

look for a Honda or Toyota

when your talking about used, anything goes really.

as low as possible is good, but too low and you should question why they are selling it. under 100,000 is a good bet.

if it is a chevy don't buy it. If a dodge get it. Dodge is good and runs good.
