Michael Clarke
David Hussey
Brad Haddin
Jason Krejza
Stuart Clark

My XI:
Phil Hughes (come on, give him a shot!)
Katich
Ponting
Michael Clarke
Marcus North
Shane Watson (in place of Mike Hussey)
Brad Haddin
Mitchell Johnson (yes, pick him for God's sake!)
Brett Lee if he's fit - if not then Peter Siddle
Stuart Clark
Hilfenhaus
Reasons: Hughes has plenty of potential and he's not gonna get better unless they play him. Hussey has not been performing for a long time, Watson solves the all-rounder issue and adds more depth. Mitchell Johnson, though he's out of form, is still Australia's best bowler and the selectors have to persevere with him. He can also bat, as can Brett Lee. Michael Clarke, Marcus North and Simon Katich can provide some part-time spin if necessary. Hauritz is not a big turner of the ball and is only going to be effective on turning, uneven wickets.

I agree that Marcus North isn't good enough to bat at 6 for Australia.
My Australian side.
Phil Hughes
Simon Katich
Ricky Ponting
Michael Hussey
Michael Clarke
Shane Watson
Brad Haddin
Stuart Clark
Peter Siddle
Ben Hilfenhaus.
Shane Watson should come in for Marcus North if Watson is fit. Watson is a class batsmen with a solid technique, North is a decent batsmen but not good enough to bat at 6. Watson's late swing and golden arm can help nick some English batsmen out.
Mitchell Johnson has had his chance, he once again failed against Northants (6 overs for 42) so Stuart Clark's relentless line will come in

Hauritz
Hilfenhaus

I would pick Bingalee to go over and sort out our problems, he seems to know everything there is about the game and if he doesn't know it he will make it up!!
