How can anybody claim that they "know" exactly how the universe was formed and how it got to where it is now? We can use the information available to us to form a best hypothesis, which for some is "godiditt", and for others it's "something went "POP"...but can anyone really claim that they know? I ask this because some people DO actually claim to know, absolutely 100% without a doubt don't bother arguing cos I'm not listening blah blah blah...

It is practically impossible to prove that something does not exist if there is no physical evidence, and to prove that something does, you would need actual evidence, not an outdated book that says he does. My opinion would be that if you believe he/she/it exists, then he/she/it exists. If you don't, then you don't.

I had a knock at the door, as soon as I opened it i knew there was something funny going on, as a man introduced himself and his wife. There were three or four other people on the block (four units). The man had a briefcase, and drew out a booklet, as soon as this appeared I said "Sorry, not interested". He replied "I trust you have a different faith then". I replied "no, none".

Or was the middle-east, as far as Christians are concerned, the "world", with the remainder of the world being ignored? The people of China, Peru, Australia, America and so forth were happily worshiping their own bevy of gods, what makes "your" god hold more weight than anyone else' of the time?
