Christians:you believe there is only one god, ok, what if he doesn't exist?

what would you do if you finally realised that all the other gods that you reject are just as fake as your own?

Update:

No not new here, just a response to this question :)

Update 2:

Sorry I don't mean to provoke, but I am sick of "Hey Atheists! Why don't you believe in our god?", "Hey Atheists, how can you not believe?" etc etc etc

That would be a huge disappointment if we know this after we die.

But hey, what if we can prove this even today? While we still alive?

Regardless which Christian branch you choose, it is wrong. Nothing is the same as what Jesus teaches.

Do you know that the Trinity concept, Jesus being the Son of God only appear long after the Jesus death?

To be exact, it is during the Council of Niceae, by Roman emperor Constantine 1, in year 325 AD that the whole concept appear. There we huge rejection by the origin Christian group, but millions are killed and executed, including women and children. Just imagine Christians killing each other because of this.

    Proof?

Try to justify the Trinity concept to a non-christian person and you will find that it is really confusing. BUT if you revert back to the original Christian teaching, where there is only ONE God and Jesus being a human, it all makes sense.

I know a lot of people will disagree, but hey, if I told you 1+1+1 = 1 you will surely object, but why not reject the Trinity? It is a simple math even 4 year old could comprehend.

So the God that Christian preaches either don't exist nor twisted into total confusion.

I am not affiliated with any religion, but I feel that any person that strives to live a fulfilling life and make the world a better place has a right to believe whatever they want to.

This said, religion can be very destructive if used against people...as can questions like this. You aren't going to get a good answer from these people because you are just provoking them. Any life lived with good intentions for themselves and others is a life well lived.

I am a believer and fortunate enough to have had some proof that it is the ONE...but regardless of anything are the 10 commandments such bad guidelines for living in harmony, Humanity has always abused or tampered with truth to implement their private agendas and control others

I would rather live as though there is a God, and die to find out there isn't (because I'd be dead and it wouldn't matter), than live as though there isn't and die to find out there is.

Doesn't seem so bad to me. What's so wrong with loving everyone, giving to the poor, leading a life lead by good moral choices as Jesus did, and believing in an afterlife? By my thoughts, nothing.

Well, the only way I could find out that God doesn't exist would be to die. Then, since God didn't exist, I wouldn't be able to care as I would be dead. It's not something I worry about.

Christians do not believe there is only one god - demons believe that and shudder.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true living God.

well what did we lose out on? Living a good and moral life? Being nice to others, helping those in need? Nothing would be lost.

What will you lose when you find out Christ does exist?

I'll be okay..? There is nothing wrong with living under God's wisdom. The stuff in the bible actually what compels me from doing stupid things in life.

    God is real.

Jesus lives in my heart and i am so glad i was brought up in a christian family.

that will not happen. God is real, and He created everything.

please do not have that sort of attitude. give the Lord a chance. will you?
