People who don't believe in god fight and die for their country. Humanists and atheists everywhere pay taxes, donate to charity and get on with the running of their country.

Then this man has the temerity to insult their work and in some cases sacrifices?

Well, that is his opinion. While I think it is completely idiotic, offensive, and in a million other ways wrong, he still has the right to have it. Countless men and women, both atheist and theist, have fought and died for him to have that opinion, and express it freely. I wish that he would remember that before speaking. The bottom line is that if I agree or not, he has the right to think anything he wants. As an american, and a former member of the military, I will defend his, anyone elses, right to have any opinion they choose with my life.

His war mongering and desire to keep killing the heathen coupled with the rhetoric you quote is what has made America look so bad, made it so many enemies and lost it so much credence in the world!!

It may also have helped to harm Christianity in America since there has been an increasing decline in church attendance during his presidency!!

This is very bad taste from someone who is president.

What would he have done if all the atheists part of his nation would have decided to leave the place to god and him? He would have looked like an a55, with 20% of his population leaving.

George Orwell sums it up for me:

Notice how the saying isn't a specific god. I guess as long as you believe in any god you are o.k. with him.
