Trailblazers are overrated?

Portland is a good team. But I'm sick of hearing for the past three years that they are a contender.

Definitely not. If anything. they're underrated. They won 54 games last season and that was without their starting SF and without Andre Miller, who they now have. It's true, they're not contenders yet. But that will change within a year or two. Brandon Roy is a future Hall of Fame guy and will lead the Blazers to more than one championship.

    But they are a contender.

The West is not looking so predictable anymore with the ascension of teams like Dallas, Portland, and San Antonio, and the departure of Lamar Odom.

The Western Conference crown is now a toss-up in my opinion. Ron Artest cannot fill the shoes of both Odom and Ariza. The Blazers are in that mix with the acquisition of Andre Miller.

Ok nba rocks dude, Brandon Roy is not a future hall of famer. And is not going to lead them to numerous titles. Portland is not overatted though, and not underated ether. There right were they should be a number 4 or 5 seed. A 1st and maybe 2nd round team. Dont push West conference finals yet. But maybe.

I think they have been overrated the last few seasons. They have a lot of pretty good players, but most of them are young and haven't become bigtime players.

This season could be the season they break out...especially now that they signed Andre Miller. But I wouldn't go crazy over them just yet...they still don't have enough to get by the Lakers or Nuggets.

They aren't a contender yet. But they're close. They actually have a PG this season which will obviously help the team a lot.

I totally agree with you, Last season was a good one for the Blazers but I guarantee next season that they will win 50 games at the most and will definitely not advance to the 2nd round. They're a playoff team but the a playoff contender

AS long as the Lakers and Spurs have good management with their teams then it is going to be might hard for the Blazers to get over that hump but within a few years they will be the few on top at the rate their going..

  • They are pretty underrated. They may not be a threat now but they are on the rise. Most of their players are young, they have yet to hit their prime. The Western Conference is gonna see a whole new season what with all the new trades.

Yes they are very similar to the Jazz, they can win a lot at home during the normal season but when It comes to the playoffs they choke badly.
