Are Republicans driving themselves off a cliff?

How can anyone think this helps their cause?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ2i9cEtZ60&feature...

Update:

If she's "fringe", then why did all those people cheer for her, and why do so many Republicans keep pushing this issue? That fringe is much larger than most Republicans think it is.

Update 2:

Youtube is for kids? LMAO! Yeah, when something you don't like is posted there.

There are nut jobs in both parties. I still hear dems calling Bush a Nazi. The reason it appears that a lot of republicans are pushing this can be attributed to am radio and Fox news. They keep harping on it over and over until the slower Americans believe it.

it particularly is not correct what the Republicans do, the Democratic social gathering has already destroyed themselves. they are like somebody without company sense who wins the lottery. while Obama gained the election and that they gained administration of Congress, they observed it as a gamble to spend each and every of the money for each thing that they have got dreamed of for years, in spite of the rustic's modern financial concern. At a time while the size and scope of government could have been shrinking the Democrats have sped up it particularly is develop which makes our concern ten circumstances worse.

Concern over the birth certificate or lack thereof doesn't seem quite as looney to me as the Dems' great myth of how Bush and the supreme court "stole" the Florida vote from Al Gore. Each party has its own fringe issues.

They are between a rock and a hard place, their base is made up of the far right which is 22% of our country. If they lose the base they are no longer a major political party, the problem is they have lost a huge number of independents. They are trying to please the base while luring the independents back.

Hah. Awesome. I want my country back, too.

Go ahead, little kids. Label people as "fringe." Ignore the real thing she said. WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK.

Whether Obama was born here is pretty much irrelevant to that fact.

And she's right. Our nation was built by "The Greatest Generation." Not by "diversity." Not by "illegals." Not by "slavery" and "discrimination." Our nation was built by the ones who gave their lives for our freedoms and this generation is destroying it all.

She's also right to corner OUR Congressmen and demand to know why this wasn't looked into, or if it was, why they aren't telling us about it. And frankly, the video should have shown the answer.

Source(s): I wonder how many Democrats also wonder. My guess is it's going to grow. Americans can only be pushed by "compassion" so far. Then, it's "get out of our wallets and take care of yourselves."

That woman in the video is a fringe idiot. She is not a spokesperson for the Republican party. However, as a Republican, I do wish "birthers" like her would let this issue drop. It is baseless paranoia.

Edit ~ You say that "so many" Republicans push this issue. That's not true. You'd be hard pressed to find Republicans in Washington pushing this issue. The GOP does not consider this an issue. And, most of the bloggers on the internet who push this issue identify themselves as libertarians or conservatives, rarely do they call themselves Republicans.

They are running toward the cliff to catch the liberal Democrats before they fall off. Its called compassion.

their leaders went over the cliff a long time ago...the rest of them aren't quite over it yet, but they're all headed that direction.

You tube is for kids so I don't watch it. I see Republicans climbing the wall of the cliff and will reach the top and cheer in 2010. One term 0buma is going over the edge now and will hit bottom a year before he is finished.

you go ahead judging all republicans by one person. thats exactly what we need to ensure victory in 10. i need to illustrate no more why to vote conservative as youve done a fine job already.
