Are there modern day speakers that compare to fisher?

Hello there world I have a pair of fisher studio x quality speakers but they are old i love these speakers to death but you just can't buy them anymore I can't find anything I like as much or more than them from my experience has anyone else found any speakers that compare and if you say infinity's I will hunt you down and shoot you and your speakers because infinity's suck! i don't want any brands that are too pricey but i like nice tone quality and have a great attention for cabinet tone not too picky but will be picky when it comes to sound definition and quality

That's a tough one. While it's also true of newer speakers especially these older vintage speakers tended to have their own characteristic sound. That's technically not a good thing, the speaker should be neutral. The problem comes in when you happen to like that characteristic sound. It's probably not going to be easy to duplicate.

If you like them that much and haven't auditioned anything in stores that you like then your best bet may be to refurbish your Fishers. You can buy replacement surround edges or find a place that re-cones speakers and have them do it for you. You will also want to replace the capacitors in the internal crossover. Once all that's done they should be just about as good as new. Otherwise you're just going to have to do a lot of auditioning newer stuff until you find something with similar characteristics. The goal of the modern speaker however is to be more neutral than these older vintage systems so it may be a difficult task.

Another consideration is that your Fisher's have become your reference. Over time a new more neutral speaker would become your reference. So in other words it might just be an "ear" break in period that is needed with newer stuff.

Cerwin Vega shares a very similar design and aren't too expensive, but you'd have to audition them to see if you like the sound. That's basically what you'd have to do to a whole bunch of speakers to really hear what you like. Some speaker manufacturers you might want to try are Klipsch, Paradigm, Kef, Axiom, PSB, Cerwin Vega...and more.

If you really like the Fishers and just want to upgrade their looks, you could always have them re-veneered and change out the speaker grill cloth for some new material. A professional might charge a few hundred dollars to do it with real wood veneer. You could DIY it for under a hundred.

I bought a pair of Bose speakers for listening to music off my laptop, and I have been very pleased with them
