Does anyone have any experience as a hotel breakfast attendant?

I saw a job listing for a hotel breakfast bar attendant at a Holiday Inn. I am curious what kinds of work goes into preparing breakfast for hotel patrons and what the salary range might be.

This is an hourly position usually from about 5am-11am each morning. Hours may change on the weekend. There are limited service and full service Holiday Inns. The limited service Holiday Inns provide a continental breakfast with items that are easily made by guests, such as toast, yogurt bars, maybe even a heat your own breakfast sandwich. Some Holiday Inns even provide fresh fruit and other small "to-go" items for their guests. Your job would be to keep the breakfast area stocked and to provide assistance to guests. A full service Holiday Inn provides a breakfast much like an IHOP or Denny's would. A breakfast bar attendant there would be responsible for stocking, cleaning, and replenishing the items brought out from the kitchen and placed on the breakfast bar area. Both jobs require big smiles and patience. Often you're dealing with a rushed and stressed crowd, whether they're off to tackle a big corporate deal or beat their rival soccer team. During breakfast hours I would go to the hotel and have a seat in their lobby. This will give you all the information you need on what is required for that particular job.
