All occur because either the air (fog, clouds) or objects (dew) drop below the dew point. Fog usually forms when warmer air comes into contact with cooler ground or water and is cooled below the dew point. The dew point is the point in temperature where the air cannot contain anymore water vapor (relativity 100%). Dew forms when an object, say grass, radiates it heat into space at night and dew forms on it. Clouds form when rising air cools below the dew point.

    Dew Point Fog

Fog forms when cold air settles on the ground and moist air comes in contact with it. Clouds form when warm, moist air rises and meets up with cold air in the atmosphere. Both phenomena, however, are due to moisture condensing out of the air as the temperature gets to the dew point.
