Yes, you are right, how funny. It is amazing how a guy can shove his door open, get a 911 call on him, which would be a good thing by a lady who made no racial overtones in her statements and then have the police enter his home with no search warrant when the lady said she saw suitcases and did not know if they lived there or not. Now, if I were Gates, I would yell too and if I was white I would not have been arrested for I have yelled at the police so much.

I remember, being white, being outside of a bar. I got drunk. This was my early years. The cops were patrolling the beach front on horses. I tried to get on the horse. My buddies stopping me told the police that I was just drunk and they would get me home.

What if I were black. I would have been arrested and probably given a year in jail, if not at least probation. I tried to get on the OFFICERS HORSE while I was cursing at him like he was my bitc$. So, that is one of 10 million examples of why gates was mad, why the police over reacted and why Obama said what he did. Obama has had it happen to him, for remember, he was a black man trying to move up and was racially profiled many times as he has stated. It is easy to pass judgement being white. That is easy. Just brush it under the rug. But what if it were you, what if you were black. Picture how you would feel walking out of your house being black. Now that is the truth for sure.
