I just purchased a magicjack and thought everything was fine....?

I have just discovered that anyone trying to call me from a landline gets a messge stating "this number is not in service. They tried dialling with my area code plus the "1". Also without the area code. It is only happening with landlines. Cell phone or other voip calls come thru no problem. Any thoughts

    call them up i mean u are payng 1.95 or w.e a month hahaha

    I dont have one but my grandmother does and it works for her. I have to dial 1 plus the area code to call her. There may be something wrong with yours if it doesnt work

    Yes, here's a thought: call Magicjack and ask THEM.
