10 Points Best Answer: How can you tell if your Guinea Pig is Cold?

I am NOT asking how to tell if he HAS A COLD, but how do you tell if he is cold

    Feel his ears - they will not necessarily be hot and may even bee cool, but if they are very cold he is cold.

    If he is fluffing up his fur and tucking his legs under and not moving around a lot this may be because he is cold.

    They like about the same temp as humans do. They are sensitive to cold and heat though and make sure there is not a draft around the cage.

    I had the same felling that my Guinea hade a cold, so after a while i took him to the vet and i turned out he did. The vet said guinea pigs have darker nose's and do not move around aften when have a cold

    its possible he is cold if he tries to bury himself in the shedding.
