    please show how this might be accomplished in general relativity.

    it's nothing more than fantasy. the universe, as we understand it, just doesn't work this way.

    it has to be better than FTL (faster than light-speed) travel. Even if we were able to travel at 20 or 30 times faster than light-speed, the distances between objects are just so great and human lifespans are so short. FTL travel is just not an option for man to travel around in, for deep space exploration, unless we find some way of travelling hundreds or thousands of times faster than light.
