curved lip ring, and strait clear stud?

when i got my lip pierced, the man used a horseshoe style ring that is curved, i need to put a clear stud in, but when i use a strait stud, it doesn't go all the way through! what should i do?

    Wait.

    Straight things don't like to go in curved holes.

    And obviously make sure it's long enough.

    If you really want to wear a retainer. Buy a smaller gauge, or have your piercing stretched, but only if its properly healed (6 months+).

    I've had some push-fit retainers that will still not go through my lip, as they're so blunt and hollow. Getting ones you put o-rings on is much much easier.

    go to the guy you got it pierced from and let him put it in for you otherwise if you shove it in you could rip un-pierced skin.

    You just need a longer bar.
