I love body mods, piercings etc. Its the questions I answer most, and know alot about. I'm currently an Art student [Painting and Drawing] and live in the UK. My other interests are Corsetry/tightlacing and cosmetics. Ask away!

  • Quiet at home excersises?

My days are getting busier, and its getting cold and dark pretty early. So I'd like some quiet at home exercises I can do inside without waking everyone up.

I'm really bored with variations on sit-ups and push-ups.

I have some light weights, but those on their own are pretty boring too.

Higher impact would be good, though I know that's unlikely without the jumping around.

    Videos would be great :)

  • Nefertiti piercing eperiences?

Well I want a Nefertiti piercing (female genital piercing)

But any real experiences of it seem impossible to find. It seems its rarer than I thought.

Any ideas on anatomy, jewellery, risks etc or any general experience (not even first-hand) would be super helpful.

Long shot asking here I know

If you're gonna flame me about it, I wouldn't bother.

  • Preserving flesh in a jar?

I'm having some flesh removed soon (don't ask XD)

But I'd like to keep it.

I don't have ready access to formaldehyde, and not being able to post it, it might be a few months before I can get hold of some. And I don't want it going rotten and icky.

What easier to get hold of chemicals/liquids can I keep my little lump of flesh in until then??

I'm sorry I had no idea where to post this question either

  • Help with hair extensions?

I know very little about hair extensions. But I want some

They need to be heat styled and dye-able to match my hair (which is currently green)

Not necessarily human, but I don't know how well synthetics hold up.

    Any suggestions??

Good quality ones but not too expensive, I'm not gonna wear em that often.

  • Gelatine free mould desserts?

I'm looking for gelatine free desserts that I could set in a shape mould. And not find it in a puddle by the time its been transported around.

Vegetarian jelly/jello seems to have become REALLY hard to find where I live. And agar is quite expensive.

I've found gelatine free blancmange recipes, but I'm unsure if they'd ever set properly or not...

  • How much are sub-dermal implants?

    In the body-modification sense.

I was thinking silicone. But I'd like a rough price for a 20mm-ish dome too.

    Estimate please :)

    I wouldn't have the first clue whether they'd be £50 or £50,000

If you happen to have one/some, how much were yours?

    £GBP is appreciated

I know I should ask an artist (not that anyone around here does them anyway), but I'd like a really rough price, so I can start saving first. Before I start bugging them with six million questions :)

  • Recommendations for foundation etc?

I want to take a step up from my cheap drugstore cosmetics. I have some nice things already, but really need new face stuff.

I need primer, foundation, concealor, and mattifying powder. The whole thing really.

I live in the UK, and want to be able to try this stuff (its hard to find things in my shade). So I'll be mooching around Boots, Debenhams, John Lewis House of Fraser etc.

I've been looking at Urban Decay, Too Faced, Benefit mostly.

But I don't have anyone to ask recommendations, testers only help so much :)

    So, any suggestions?

    No MAC, its too far.

  • Proper Corsets (waist training)?

This is for proper corsets, eg. steel busks and spiral stays and whatnot... Please don't tell me to go to hottopic.

I'm really looking at buying an underbust corset pretty soon.

I've pretty much fallen in love with this one:

    http://www.fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages2/tr-01b...

But its long-line, and I'm not sure if that would limit its wearabilty or restrict movement or w/e...

They are expensive, I shan't be affording another too soon. And I'd be wearing it often, so I wouldn't want anything thats too impractical.

    Basically, I'd like some help!

Or suggestions of more suitable styles etc.

    Along with maintenance tips

And some suggestions of online shops, that ship worldwide (though I'm probably going to go to a shop I know for the first one)

    Thanks x

  • Model release form for drawing?

    Is one needed?

Its standard portrait drawing really. As close to life as I can manage.

It may or may not be used commercially.

But if one is needed, I'd rather get one sooner, than trying to re-locate my model..

  • Connecting Freesat to DVD?

Basically, I want to connect the freesat box to the surround sound. But I dont have a clue how, and there doesn't seem to any magical cable. So I thought I'd ask here.

Its a Humax foxsat HDR, and a Sony DVD.

At the moment DVD is connected to the TV by scart, and freesat to TV using HDMI. Which works fine.

But according to the freesat book, you can get 5.1 dolby with it, which is something I'd like if its possible. But I can't work it out....

I scanned the instruction books, so you can peruse the cable ports. Cause I don't have a clue anymore.

    Help, anyone??

  • How do I get hair like the prima lady on QVC?

Well right at the moment theres a prima flower thing on QVC (UK)

And a woman with really nice blonde hair. I took a picture, but I can't find the cable, and don't know her name, so I know this is a long shot.

But how do I get hair like her?

Its a slightly messy updo, and very very blonde with a thick fringe.
