What happens to indigents under the proposed Health Care Bill?
I heard a tv report saying that under the proposed Health Care Bill everyone will be required to have health insurance, and those who do not will be fined!!! What kind of crap is that? If they can't afford insurance, how do they propose to collect a fine? And, if they don't have insurance, will they still have access to health care?
I tried to read the bill, but it is over 1000 pages of bureaucratic bull-crap that the average american can never hope to be able to read entirely. Maybe someone else has a better grasp on this?

I'm not sure but I think that the government would provide some form of financial aid to those that can't afford it. You would still have access to health care if you are uninsured but would drive up the premiums for those who are insured.
