How do you motivate yourself to go to the gym?

I go for about a week, and then I lose motivation. I have at least 130lbs to lose, and I really want to keep this motivation up that I get so quickly. Also I do not know how to get in order for planning meals and such. Idk what to do for snacks and meals because I work in retail, so I don't always have a lunch or break. Any ideas?

    i reward myself...but not with food!

    like if im getting really down on myself and im just like i dont want to do this anymore and then i push threw it anyway i'll go home and paint my nails or have a bubble bath

    Ok you have the membership, thats a start, when you have money riding on it it motivates you. I am a guy and I lost 65 pounds in a year and a half. Just eat right, dont eat crap, and run alot and do some lifting (i lift but idk about you). I work in retail too, 40-50 hours and it sucks. Just stick it out. You can do it, it takes time but is totally worth it, you feel better about yourself, and once you are in a rhythm you cant stop. What I do is, I get 2 15 minute breaks and a lunch. I bring 3 waters, 3 yogurts and a sandwich. 1 water and 1 yogurt per break and 1 water, sandwich and yogurt at lunch. I eat a little more though bc my body demands more since I have a pretty muscular build (now). Have a glass of water in the morning AND ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST, a bowl of cereal works. That gets you firing throughout the day. Don't eat much of anything after 8 or 9 because that just turns into fat. That is the most important rule.

    How about joining a fun class there or only go to the gym a few times a week. On other days you could try working out at home. There are many great magazines and books with excersises that you could probably do. If you have no motivation for the gym though make sure that you either jog or walk for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week and that way you will start losing wieght, then going to the gym will seem like less of a chore and you may actually like it!

    Imagine about the health benefits u r going to have by going to gym.Think about the physical benefits too.You will not only look slimmer but will have more confidence.

    You should plan 6 small meals such as salads and fresh juices every 2 hrs.This will consume less time and easy to plan.

    try joining a class your gym offers such as spin. Always change thing up and you will never get bored with the gym. As for snacks fruit is always easy to bring with you and eat quickly.

    take a picture of yourself in a bathing suit you want to fit in and you dont ... then cut out a picture of someone in a magazine you want to look like and put it on your fridge so evertime you go for a snack or your being lazy it will make you not want that snack and run like hell

    well google weightview and upload a picture of yourself, type in how much weight you wanna lose and it will render and edit you photo for you to show you what you will look like if you lose that weight. it'll give you something to strive for it really works for me

    I would say any kind of powerbar or nutritional bar is good for you on your break.
